One of Chick-fil-A’s newest locations is springing up in Skokie following the demolition of the Roadway Inn Hotel on Skokie Boulevard. An AAA Car Care Auto Service and Bank of America will be joining the Chick-fil-A in the near future.

Chick-fil-A has taken the nation by storm in the last few years, particularly in the southern states, however stores are slowly inching further north. There are currently over 1,950 Chick-fil-A locations in 42 states as well as Washington, D.C.

Chick-fil-A has established their place in the fast food industry through not only their impressive food, but their remarkable service as well. Customers are ensured a very pleasant experience, and many Chick-fil-A locations also involve themselves with the community through various fundraisers.

Currently, the nearest Chick-fil-A locations are in Mount Prospect and Vernon Hills; thus, many members of the community have yet to try it as both locations are at least a 30 minute drive away. So, excitement is quickly building.

“I’ve been to Chick-fil-A a few times and it’s always really good. I’m excited for there to be one in the neighborhood,” Sammy Schein, junior, said.

Others are also voicing there excitement over Chick-fil-A and are eager to get their hands on some.

“I’m pumped for Chick-fil-A. I’ve had it downtown a few times and for fast food it’s cheap and good, Shaina Kravitz, junior, said.

Additionally, the first 100 customers at a new Chick-fil-A location receive a free meal every week for an entire year. If you are serious about your Chick-fil-A, you should definitely consider attending the opening.

However, when that opening will come is unknown as of now as there has been no official announcement. Assumably, it will be open sometime during the next school year as construction has already begun.
