On Monday, September 15, juniors and seniors will face off in the annual PowderPuff game starting at 6:30 p.m. sharp.

This year’s seniors won last year as juniors with a score of 8-6. Kienya Jones had the lone touchdown and the two-point conversion.

It will be the juniors’ first year as a team together and they are working really hard to pull off a win this year.

Both teams have coaches with very different coaching styles. Some girls are coming late from practices or games, which could potentially turn out to be a major factor in the outcome of this game.

Junior Nicole Wheeler and senior Esther Moss will be starting as quarterbacks this year. The seniors have a couple of “bigs” on the team that they will be looking to go to, like Jones and Amanda Green.  The seniors are looking to repeat, while the juniors are looking to upset. It’s going to be a hard fought battle for both teams.

The last practice was held on Saturday, and now it’s game time. Who will come out on top? Come out and watch to find out.
