I wanted to show how beautiful Black culture is and especially emphasize the importance of hair in Black culture. Lucas Sato is an Afro-Brazilian model and the first time I saw photos of him I fell in love with the way he carries himself and how unapologetically he wore his hair. Sato is an inspiration.
