Next week, students have the opportunity to show off their school spirit during this year’s spring spirit week. The themed days go as follows:
- Monday, Mar. 17: St. Patrick’s Day – Wear green!
- Tuesday, Mar. 18: Hawaiian shirt day
- Wednesday, Mar. 19: Fashion disaster day
- Thursday, Mar. 20: Beach day
- Friday, Mar. 21: Flip flop Friday – Also, wear purple!
Remember, outfits still must follow the school dress code.
North Star News is also bringing back their spirit week contest! Dress according to the theme of the day, snap a picture and post to Instagram using #nnspirit. The winner for each day will get a free ticket to the Spring Fling dance on Friday, Mar. 21.
“I really like to see the faculty and staff getting involved,” said math teacher Gary Chu. “We like to get creative.”
Additionally, tropical punch with the principal is both this Friday, Mar. 14 and next Friday, Mar. 21. This will be held in the cafeteria from 7:30 to 8 a.m..
