The next big thing is finally coming out on Oct.17, 2014, when Samsung releases the Galaxy Note 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a super-sized mobile phone that is more like a tablet or now as they say “phablet”. It is 5.7 inches long and 78.8 mm wide. The Note 4 is available in the colors black and white.

“I’m really looking forward to the new features the Note 4 brings because I like android and they always have something new up their sleeve every time,” Sophomore Zain Ahmed said.

The design of the Note 4 includes thin metal bands on the edges and the corners are curved elegantly. The back of the phone is leather, which makes it smooth and easy to hold. The front of the Note 4 features a 2.5D glass profile which makes the screen appear like it is floating when viewed from the top. The phone itself weighs 176 grams and has a memory of thirty two giga bites.

The cameras on the front and back are 16 mega-pixels and have a single LED flash. The Note 4 can hold up to 2160 quality videos. The camera will also be able to take bright photos in dim lighting. The Note 4 also lets you take frame selfies. This means that you can take a picture at any angle and your heart rate will be next the picture.

Like Samsung’s previous phones, the Note 4 features a stylus, which Samsung calls the S-pen. The S-pen comes with high level pressure of sensitivity, meaning that you can use it without any problems. Also, with the S-pen, people do not need to get worried about their screen getting dirty or touched with dirty hands.

The software on Galaxy Note 4 will let you open multiple apps in separate windows. These separate windows can be dragged around the screen whenever  and wherever you want.

The Note 4 has a standard battery and it is 3,220 mAh. The battery is said charge faster, which is great for people who really use their phones a lot. The battery life can also be extended to 15.2 days.

The internal storage of Note 4 is 32GB. The phone also had a microSD card slot and SIM card slot. This is great for people who use a lot of data and memory.

The Galaxy Note 4 can be bought with the carriers Sprint, Verizon, T-mobile, AT&T, and US Cellular. If you have off contract the phone will cost approximately$600.00 and if you have a contract it is said that the Note 4 will be $300.00.

“The best part of the Galaxy Note 4 is the stylus because I my phone gets dirty and and using the pen will hopefully keep my phone clean,” Junior Raihan Ahmed said.

The box it self comes with the phone which has a stylus, earphones which also come with extra buds, charger, S-pen tips, charger connector, and owners manual.
